Floyd County Conservation

Floyd County is located in North-east Iowa and is home to the Fossil & Prairie Park Preserve and Center.

We currently manage 30 individual parks, preserves, natural areas and river accesses that encompass some 2,400 acres. The Winnebago, Shell Rock and Cedar Rivers cascade across Floyd County and provide numerous water recreation opportunities.

Please browse our website to discover more about our Parks, Outdoor Recreation, & Environmental Education opportunities!
