Fossil & Prairie Center

Since the opening of the
Fossil & Prairie Center in 2001,
visitors from 48 states and 24 countries
have been welcomed to Floyd County.

The Center showcases the various features of the Fossil & Prairie Park Preserve and their connections.

The Fossil & Prairie Park Preserve is open from Sunrise to Sunset.

 

 

The Fossil & Prairie Center is now Closed for the Season.
In 2013, it will be open weekends in May, September, & October
and Summer hours (Memorial Day - Labor Day) Daily from 1-4 p.m.

There is no admission fee - donations are accepted.
