• Location: One mile west of Rockford, Iowa on County Road B47.
  

• Hours: The Park is open year round from Sunrise to Sunset. The Fossil & Prairie Center is open from 1-4 p.m. Daily, Memorial Day through Labor Day.

• Collecting: Fossil collecting is allowed – personal use not for commercial sale. Tools are not necessary; the quarry is fractured limestone and shale.

• Fees: There is no admission fee, donations are accepted. Memberships to the Fossil & Prairie Foundation are available
