DESCRIPTION: Performs diverse tasks associated with the maintenance of the county's parks, trails, recreation, historical and wildlife management areas. He/She will also be responsible for assisting the Naturalists with Environmental Education programs.
QUALIFICATIONS: Must be 18 years old and have a current driver’s license. Background checks are required. Basic knowledge of equipment, procedures and tasks associated with maintenance of county parks and recreation areas.
WAGE: $8.50/hr., 40 hours per week, seasonal summer position (approximately three months)

DESCRIPTION: Permanent, full-time position: The Resource Manager performs a variety of duties in the Conservation Board’s parks and wildlife areas.
RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES: Plans and performs park and facility maintenance, cleaning, and repairs. Maintains vehicles and equipment. Operates a variety of equipment including tractors, mowers, dump truck, chain saw, fire-fighting equipment, and power tools. Performs vegetation management, including planting, mowing, pruning, prescribed burning and chemical application.
QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum of an Associates Degree or 2 years direct experience. Prefer Bachelors Degree in related area. Possession of valid driver’s license. Ability to obtain additional certifications, including but not limited to CDL and pesticide applicator’s license. Ability to perform heavy physical labor.
WAGE: Starting salary is $13-$15 per hour plus full-time county sick leave, vacation, holiday, and insurance benefits. Successful candidate will be subject to background checks and drug screening.
